Best Amazon Finds for Our New Home
As many of you may already know, we bought our very first home this past August in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma!
It has been such a whirlwind moving back to town and settling into this space we get to call home. There is so much I am looking forward to sharing with you all, but I thought I’d start with the favs! Every time we’ve moved I feel like we’ve upgraded home goods along the way many of which I’ve purchased via Amazon. So I decided to put together a list of the 8 best amazon finds for our new home!
I’m a huge plant lover— so much so, that we moved cross country with 22 of our houseplants…Yes 22 plants in my Ford Fusion! Anyways this standing planter pot couldn’t have been more perfect for our cacti who likes to hang by the window.
A trash can! Glamourous— I know. But every household needs one. And for the longest time I had a single compartment can and always had to have the recycles piled up in an old bin or trader joes bag next to trash. Well, let me tell ya — those days are long gone! This is probably one of my most “upgrade worthy’ purchases I’ve made. This dual compartment bin comes in a lovely neutral color and encourages recycling.
In honor of finally buying a new couch, I read a million reviews all to find this cozy blanket for us and the dogs to snuggle into. This is one of my favs! I chose the vibrant yellow color, but they have so many other choices and the quality feels divine.
I’ll say this, there’s nothing like being in a new home and having it smell divine! This amazon small business has had my business for awhile. Every so often I buy a new diffuser and the scent lasts so long! This is one of my favorite flavors (as I am a pumpkin spice gal) but if pumpkin isn’t yo thang- they have others.
One of the perks of our new home is having a guest room. I’ve always hoped to host friends and family and having a dedicated room to do so makes it all the more inviting. I purchased this bedframe for our guest room and it’s exactly what I was looking for. Minimal, natural and an easy no-fuss setup! Plus, tall enough to store all the random things you don’t know where to put…
Okay, so I was only going to put one plant item in this list- but had to add this one as well! This cute little planter bottom is the new home to one of my succulent babies and I adore it. Something about a nice set of cheeks adds a dash of personality to the mix!
Prior to moving into our home, I made a conscious decision to take this new beginning as chance to get organized. I am planning on doing a blog post solely over my revamped kitchen organization and all the things I bought that helped me, but I had to at least share this one with you all as it’s one of my best finds. This jar is universal and so well made. I’ve purchased two since moving in and am about to order a third. I love using this for cookies, nuts, sugar, you name it!
Last but not least, a letterboard! Yes, now I do understand this is not a home essential— but well it’s one of my favorite bits I’ve added to our home and I find it gives a little personal flair. After all, nothing like going to the bathroom and being reminded that you are indeed welcomed!
