A passion for travel
I’d say my love for travel was influenced by my mother.
She was:
An adventurer,
An engineer,
An immigrant from Nicaragua,
And I like to think of her as the Amelia Earhart of her day.
My very first experience abroad was with her in Mexico City when I was 13 years old. We used all public transit and traveled to the slums to help an impoverished community build a solar oven...It was quite the culture shock to say the least!
Since then, my soul has fallen in love with so many places both near and far.
From the streetside aperitivos in Italy,
To the intimate cafes in Paris,
To the vast landscapes of Iceland,
To the hot red rocks of Sedona,
I believe my passion for travel has and continues to mold me into who I am today-- like a vast collection of places, people, cultures, and ideas that create a beautiful collage.
And what I’ve really found, is that no matter where I travel to,
