Aging With Grace
Like a sweet wine that ages with grace, so does time and all that’s around her. For it is those who fear growing old that fight so strongly to oppose.
When they could just let age carry them softly along,
Like soft waters just drifting along
along
and
along.
Growing wiser with age, her wisdom fills page to page.
And though wrinkles may come, and memories may fade- fear not dear one my love stays the same.
How I wish I could stay
Stay near you this way
But it’s time for me to age
slowly away
So let us not be so low, for when it’s time to go we must go.
And someday once more
We’ll be near like before.
